Thanks for this post Anna, iyhad no idea it was here in Finland. No bog here but perhaps it might be found at the lake's edge - I'll keep my eye out from now on!
Its been a while since I last saw some sundew - going to a place where it might be weekend after next - so I will think about your article and the poem when I hopefully see it.
Thanks for sharing Anna, this was a facinating read, very interesting 🙂 I have not seen this Drosera in Norway, a bit strange when its growing in Finland with a simular climate?!🧐🧐. Its a very beautiful plant.
Thank you for your comment Tony. It’s a very small plant. I took these photos from really close up, which might be a bit misleading. I hope you get to come across it someday.😊🫶🏼
We also have sundew in Denmark. In danish: soldug. But I don’t remember having seen it!
It’s a very good at blending into its surroundings because of its small size. 😊

Sundews can be found in unexpected places, like small boggy patches along a lakeshore. I hope you come across one someday! Thank you Jonathan! 🌿🫶🏼🫶🏼

Thanks for sharing Anna! I learned something new today 😊
Nice that you liked it. I enjoy writing about species, and I could easily get absorbed in researching things for days.😅🌿
