Its nice that you find time for just you and your partner, it is very important to the relationship. Quality time for sure, in stunning Nature and the cabin is just magical- wow๐ The stars and the constellations is very interesting . Our ancient civilisations knew all about astrology. We can learn a lot about this. They looked up at the stars and knew what it showed. And its exstremly beautiful to look up in a starry night๐ซ๐ซ Thank you for sharing Anna๐๐ซโ๏ธ
Yes, couple time is important, and Iโm so happy that he and I both like spending time outside. Weโve been lucky โ often the sky has been clear at just the right moments, and weโve seen so many stars. Thank you Tony! ๐ซ๐ฅฐ
I recall a number of yrears whilst on an himalayan trek to kala patar, an 18500 ft mountain on top of which I gazed across at Everest in all its splendour with a magnificent clear blue sky backcloth at 0800. Truly oh words fail me.
But it was in the middle of the night on my journey there at about 15500 ft I had left the mountain hut for a pee. Old Codger thing.
On my way back to my repose I gazed above me to the starry starry night.
I had to lay down, lie on my back and gaze up in wonder. I was there quite a while
No light pollution.
A myriad of a million or two shining oh so twinkling stars.
Looking out at our galaxy
Awe inspiring and truly sublime
I felt small, insignificant, humble but oh so privileged.
Reflective in wonder.
A memory that will never leave me, imprinted on my very soul
Thank you for triggering that thought and your magnificent photographs and pensive words.
That sounds like an incredible moment. Experiences like that stay with you forever. Thank you for sharing this, and itโs so nice to hear that my writing brought this to mind. Thank you Steve! ๐ซถ๐ผโจ
"A single moment โ a hand in yours, the crisp air of a winter forest, the quiet before night settles โ can hold more meaning than entire galaxies." I got chills! Beautiful.
Thank you for your kind words! I hope this conveyed the atmosphere of that evening. It truly felt as if the universe was close, and the rest of the world far away. โจ
Beautiful story and photos. I could hear the crunch of the snow, the sorrow of the ice and feel the warmth of the fire. You certainly live in a magical place. Thank you.
Thanks Jerry! Nice to hear that you got into the mood. Returning to the warmth of the fire after being out in the freezing cold is simply the best. โ๏ธ๐ฅ
