Yes!😊 My own place of power. Familiar nature spots boost well-being, I’ve noticed that. 💚

Wonderful photos. Sounds like a super day. For an old woman like me it’s so nice to read about children getting out in nature and playing. That’s what I remember from my childhood. Nowadays it seems like most children sit indoors with their IPad!

I spent the first days of the week on the west coast of Jutland/Denmark - a dune landscape with a lot of deer 🦌 that come quite close to the house. Here are photos from over there and autumn pictures from my way back home on Funen.

They will follow!

Thank you for this lovely comment! 💕 I try to fight against the iPad childhood, and so far it has been surprisingly easy. I hope every child could build a strong connection with nature already in childhood — it’s a wonderful foundation for adulthood. I’ve written a post about our relationship with nature and how it changes throughout life. I can share the link if you’re interested: https://growwildforest.com/p/becoming-part-of-nature-by-giving

Your photos don’t seem to show up, probably because the comment section of this post doesn’t support images. I’d really love to see them! Could you maybe share them as a comment under some of my note? They should show up there. 🦌💚

Anna, this is pure forest poetry. I could feel the moss under my palms and smell the smoke from your campfire. That line about “autumn’s diamonds” stopped me cold — so lovely. We’ve spent the past year slow traveling through Europe and Africa, but your post made me want to trade sea cliffs for pine needles, just for a day. -Kelly

Thanks, Kelly! I’m so glad my text conveyed the atmosphere so well. Coniferous forests really do have their own special vibe. 🌲✨ If you want to escape into one for a moment, I have a post that’s especially perfect for that: Through Enchanted Forest. Here's link, if you want to peek: https://growwildforest.com/p/through-the-enchanted-forest

Theese kinda stories is beyond beautiful and also important . Important because I really hope people realize that this is the way out of the program. By looking at the images alone you sense the belonging, the deep connection with Nature. The Humanity need this. We need to rebuild the system and our modern world as fast as possible . Nature show us the way to do it. The children need this kind of activities. Both physically and mentally. Thank you again for a brilliant post Anna💚🌳🌿

Such wise words, Tony! I truly hope that change is near, even though I also know there’s no way back to a deep connection with nature for everyone — at least not without awakening and motivation for change. I try to stay positive and hope that my blog makes it feel easier for people to go out into nature. Let’s make nature our second home – it can truly feel like a living room, a comforting place. Thank you for sharing such thoughtful words.🌿💚
