Thank you for sharing! I agree with nature being the best playground for kids - my three kids dissolve into the most imaginative games the moment they step into the bushland! We need as many young people to fall in love with the natural world as possible 🙂

Thank you! You are right, children’s relationship with nature needs to be nurtured and cared for. And I recognize exactly that effect you mentioned on imagination. It kind of comes alive in nature.🌱🚸

Beautiful! I too had the opportunity to run wild in nature in my childhood. Still love it - of course. Thank you for sharing your beautiful forest and your family's play there.

Thank you for your kind comment Claire. Nature is the best playground in the whole world!🌿💚

Simple joys in nature is the best! Everybody feels better just by going outside ☺️🌲🏞 And I love Karelian rice pie! I grew up in the north not so far from the border to Finland, so we had it at home, and the same for my husband, his mother came from Finland. Our fathers both came from Inkeri [Ingermanland).

Yes, enjoying simplicity is a wonderful skill. Karelian pasties are truly an easy food to take on a hike. Thanks for your lovely comment!🫶🏼😊

Such wonderful photos and a wonderful way to spend a day. Every time I read about your experiences outdoors with your children , I come to think of my childhood. As I remember it we played as much as possible outdoors and I still prefer to be outside. These days I mostly spend time in my garden enjoying spring and all the new plants coming forward.

It’s wonderful to hear that my posts bring your own childhood to mind. I’m sure that spending plenty of time outdoors in childhood makes being outside something you continue to enjoy later in life as well.

Wishing you a lovely spring, Karen. This is such a beautiful time of year! Thank you for your kind comment.🫶🏼🌱

Happy to see spring have arrived in your lovley forest Anna💚🌳🌿 It gives energy and joy, important after a long, cold dark winter( even we both love Winter 😉) I really like spring too. I am back in Norway and here it slowly come signs of spring, but still cold at night. It was more spring in Germany. Looking forward to skip wool now😉

Thank you for your comment Tony! The best thing is exactly the cycle of the seasons. The change is truly refreshing. The nights are still cold, but during the day we have been able to enjoy, at times, almost summery warmth. I hope you can soon pack away your wool in the closet to wait for autumn. 😊🌱💚
