What a great adventure. Just disappointed that there were no trolls (the nordic ones, not the ones from the internet).
This reminds me of the time I was taking a summer course in a field station in Uganda and me and a couple others randomly decided to spend a night out in the forest with no preparation, because we could never have a chance to do such a thing again. We slept miserably and the most exciting sighting was a glow worm. We probably scared away all the forest animals with the awful racket we made.
I can’t stop admiring your wonderful nature, which you show us so well. I would very much like to visit your country someday.
I have wanted to see cranes myself for a long while , but haven’t succeeded yet, even if there is a lake about 10 kilometers from here, where it should be possible.
