Thanks Karen! This place is on Lake Päijänne, in Southern Finland. Päijänne is the second-largest lake in the country, and it’s also the source of drinking water for the whole southern region. Our cottage is on its shore, and most of our adventures start from there. Thanks for your pictures, I will look at them! 🌸

When I returned to Europe, to Belgium, after six years in a tropical country, I was struck by how crisp and clear the air felt there.
I’ve never been to Finland, but I imagine the air is even purer there. Through your words and photos, I can almost feel as if I were there with you.
